Simple set using PRECIOSA Two-Cut Beads

We have prepared a set consisting of simple geometric shapes.

The shapes are made from PRECIOSA Two-Cut Beads strung on a wire. You can choose any color shade, surface finish and bead size from our wide range.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

- steel memory wire (D) in stringing diameters of 5 cm, 5.5 cm and 6 cm; 4 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm rings; a thin chain (2 cm, 9 – 11 links; the outer links must be able to be connected with the 8 mm rings); an adjusting chain; a carabiner; earring hooks letni den rokajl material

- needle nose pliers; flat nose pliers (for working the D, the rings and the link eyes); large and small snipping pliers; a ruler

PROCEDURE

The procedure:

Step 1:
Clip one twist off the D. 3x 5 cm D, 4x 5.5 cm D and 3x 6 cm D for the necklace. 2 of each twist for the earrings.

Step 2:
Grip the D in the middle of the twist with the flat nose pliers and bend it.

Step 3:
String the TC on one side of the D; 20x TC on the 5 cm D, 25x TC on the 5.5 cm D and 30x TC on the 6 cm D. Snip off the D and create a loop. Leave an overhang of about 1 cm of the D. The loops are turned towards one another. Grasp the end of the D between the rounded points of the needle nose pliers. Start twisting the D around the point. You can shift the points when creating the loops. Once the loop has been completed, grasp the D behind the TC and twist it so that the loop is centrally located above the TC. You can close the loop by pressing it with the flat nose pliers.

Step 4:
Create the second side of the D.

Step 5:
Cut off 6 lengths of 1.5 - 2 cm from the thin chain. The end links must be facing the same way. Cut off 2 side chains of about 30 cm; they are doubled. Subsequently adjust the length.

Step 6:
Start connecting the necklace from the middle. Open an 8 mm ring. String a 6 cm D loop, both 5 cm D loops and the second 6 cm D loop. Thread the outer links of the two short chains.

Step 7:
String an R3 onto the chain. Thread the ring through the outer link. String both 5.5 cm D loops. Add another chain.

Step 8:
Link the D loops and the chains in the same way as in the middle. Don't forget the R3. Also connect the outer 5.5 cm D loops and one chain.

Step 9:
Also connect the second side of the necklace.

Step 10:
Thread the long side chains into the outer 8 mm rings. String an R3 on both ends of the chain on one side. If that is not possible, then only do it on one end.

Step 11:
Adjust the overall length of the necklace. The pattern has a length of 40 cm when fastened. Prepare about 7 cm of adjusting chain. Connect an R3 strung on a 10 mm ring on one side. Connect both ends of the chain from one side of the necklace using a 4 mm ring. Add the adjusting chain. Close the rings. Attach the carabiner on the ring on the other side.

The earrings

Step 12:
Prepare the earring hooks. Remove the spring and the ball from the hook. String a R6 and return the spring.

Step 13:
Connect the 6 cm and 5 cm D with a 8 mm ring. String the 5.5 cm D between the 6 cm and 5 cm D. Thread the 5.5 cm D loop through the new 8 mm ring, the ring from the connected wires and the second 5.5 cm D loop. Add the loop from the earring hook. Close the ring.
